-did you know?

i present to you the new mr and mrs heather lewis:
every once in a while i see a picture of myself where i look like a man with boobs.
i use to be a man (without boobs) in high school.
it's brandon's biggest darkest secret.
he's the modern day jonny lingo.

before the days of waxing my face, seeing the tragedy in white nylons or wearing clothes that fit, i was such a sweet heart:

what the hell.
happy tuesday night.

geez . . . . thanks for blurring out my face. did you do that because i looked so much better than you in my boy jeans i borrowed from roland rint? yah..... thats right. he let me borrow those guess jeans and i wore them like a champ. every day. i didn't know i was supposed to dress like a girl until about 6 months ago. i did, however, figure out that getting rid of my facial hair was a must at around age 20 . . . . and my boobs will be coming in the next couple years . . . if i can manage to wait that long.

Heather, you know that I think you are an amazing dresser...but...
I'm proud to say that I think I actually dressed better than you in high school. Seriously, what the eff are you wearing in the bottom right picture? hahahaha
I sure do love ya though!

What does it say about us that we all thought you were fabulous then??

And, really, it is not our faults that we grew up in WA during the height of the grunge revolution. Let's blame Pearl Jam and Nirvana for our fashion disasters.

I notice that none of the photos bring out the blueness of those eyes that have captivated people for years. You are and have always been simply gorgeous and fun. Many envious people have told me so.

Your pictures are old news to me. I lived it with you.

However, I clicked on your link to "Johnny Lingo" since I hate not knowing a reference to something and to my surprise I found a video done by our church. I was able to only watch for a couple minutes, since I am at work, but I cannot tell you how excited I am to go home and watch the whole video. I missed all these horrible videos when I was young so I find them fascinating. I can't wait to see what kind of positive moral values it is trying to show and then can't wait to make Blake watch it. So, Thank you. Thank you for me and from Blake :)

What can I say Heather...you're a very brave woman! Much braver than me. I'm embarrassed to pull out pics from 5 years ago!

You are way too funny! You hardly look like a man with boobs. I love the old HS pictures. I think we may have been twins in our previous life. Maybe we just all took some bad pics back then. But how funny we thought we looked good!

I love the sweater vest sans shirt underneath. I actually picked a similar ensemble for one of my high school picture days. Why. WHY didnt anyone clue me in that they are to be worn with something besides my pasty arms peeking from underneath. It still makes me cringe just looking at what an oblivious loser i was.

Nice to know that trend transcended the Prescott Az boundaries....to the clearly equally fashion forward Kennewick, WA.
