-apples green and apples yellow

yippee for fall/halloween/end of triple digit weather/wearing jeans without fear of dampening
unlike the rest of the country, the only indicator of fall in arizona is the turning of the calendar page from september to october.
i'm ok with that.
you can have your foliage and sweaters and crisp college football games and soups.
i've got a living room wrapped in 3 bags of $2 spiderweb from the wals and a candy corn scented candle. face.
for reals though- halloween is my favorite holiday and the babies love to watch momma decorate the house and then yell "don't touch it" for the remaining 30 days.
and since mexico, i'm rethinking the superwoman costume.
maybe i'll just stick with the original idea and be a colorado city wife.
i think it could win some prizes this year if i could talk 5 other girls into going out in floor length floral dresses, no make up, some sturdy sneakers and a look of plural confusion upon our shiny faces. what do you say girls?

oh yes-
here's a preview of what i'm working on.
dave walked in 3 shows at phoenix fashion week.
i went a little nuts and took 4000000 pictures.

but just like the riverdance song that came on during spinning class this morning and helped distract me from the throbbing pain of 2 episiotomies,
i'm sure the editing will be full of pleasant surprises.

thanks for the ears mom and dad.

and here's the best best part.
lew came with.
the scottsdale club scene and brandon are 2 nouns you can't say in the same sentence without laughing a little bit to yourself.
and not just because he hates drunk people, trashy girls, techno, bouncers, waiting in lines, making small talk, hair gel and cover charges.
i laugh because he would genuinely rather be at home on the couch in his AF shorts with a homemade quesadilla, listening to the baby monitors .
amazing.

wow you totally go all out for Halloween! maybe I should actually put a little effort into the holiday this year?
honestly it's one of my least favorite holidays at the moment because all of my friends are at the "lets dress slutty and get really drunk at UC Santa Barbara!!"

Question: Do candy-corn scented candles smell like sugar? I don't remember that candy having a certain scent....

You're the coolest Mom.

And homemade quesadillas are highly underrated. HIGHLY.

Of course I already think your house is fab on the day to day, but then throw in the true HL creep factor and it's MAGNIFICENT!

What I love most? The shrunken heads. I've got apothecary jars coming out of my ass and didn't have the slightest idea what to do with them for Halloweena. This is me publicly admitting to stealing this idea. No worries, I'll be "nice" and cite you for the inspiration. Damn me and that conscience of mine.

Your decorations are AMAZING. I am digging. I would decorate all out but I live alone...like, who is ever going to see? But it's my FAVORITE holiday! Where did you get your goods?

hi! thanks for all the love.
i would be more than happy to wrap all of your homes into a hot mess any day.

i buy decorations all year round. and i'm not picky- 99 cent stores, walmart, craft stores, goodwill. the creepier, the better.

and ruby- i was looking forward to a freezing cold photoshoot in ohio!! can't wait to figure out a day!!
